The Opportunity
Tiny Health is seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic Partnerships Lead who is passionate about gut and vaginal microbiome research. Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, this role is primarily responsible for identifying, targeting, cultivating, structuring, and closing new partnership opportunities that falls under the scope as outlined below.
This includes partnering with relevant companies for our wholesale and co-branded microbiome tests, helping nutrition and CPG companies with their clinical studies using our advanced microbiome testing platform, working with therapeutic companies on ground-breaking discoveries, and expanding our practitioner market. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development, partnership or sales roles. Professional exposure to clinical studies or microbiome research is not required but will be a plus. You will play a key role in a dynamic and high-growth startup environment, responsible for achieving new business revenue goals and fostering the growth of existing partnerships. What You’ll Do
- Research and Pipeline Development: Conduct research, identify, and develop new business prospects from a variety of sources, including industry contacts, leads generated through organic prospecting efforts, email, outbound leads and inbound leads from our website.
- Strategic Planning: Plan and implement a detailed, cohesive, and actionable sales strategy for acquiring and managing business opportunities to expand the reach of our advanced vaginal and gut microbiome testing platform, especially where it relates to women’s health and a baby’s first 1,000 days, and strategically expanding from there out to other demographics.
- Business Development: Develop an active and relevant funnel of open opportunities to facilitate ongoing business generation, and demonstrating the ability to close, maintain, and grow strategic partner relationships in the various sectors including but not limited to: nutrition, wellness, parenting, biotech and pharmaceutical partners. Deliver presentations on various partnership opportunities, able to conduct competitive analysis, and other initiatives to meet our goals.
- Negotiation: Support negotiation and the contracting process agreements with channel partners. Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure successful closing of partnership deals.
- Market Expansion: Manage all revenue diversification and market expansion activities, as well as initiatives to test new revenue models. Manage all revenue diversification and market expansion activities, including initiatives to test new revenue models.
- Performance Analysis: Determine how to monitor, track, and analyze performance indicators related to channel partnership initiatives, as well as provide insights and optimization recommendations.
- Communication and Marketing: Effectively lead and communicate proposals to internal and external partners. Determine the strategic objectives and priorities of the department in collaboration with the CEO and the Marketing Team. Support the development and implementation of Tiny Health's overall marketing strategy and contribute to the organization's understanding of the opportunities within the B2B sales pipeline. Actively participate in the generation of innovative growth ideas.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully driving revenue goals through channel partnerships
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Self-motivated and proactive with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
