Tiny Health offers the first and most comprehensive at-home gut microbiome test for families. We're pioneering new ways to interpret microbiome data, developing novel biomarkers and metrics, and building the world’s largest dataset of infant and family microbiomes.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Product & Engineering team as our sole designer. This is an end-to-end role that spans UX research, product thinking, visual craft, and systems design. You’ll work directly with product, engineering, and company leadership to shape every user-facing touchpoint across our three core product surfaces: direct-to-consumer, the practitioner experience, and our enterprise portal.

You’ll need to be equally comfortable leading user interviews, refining flows, designing polished UI, and getting into the weeds of complex data-driven experiences. As our only designer, you’ll have the autonomy to define our design approach, processes, and standards—while driving high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced, ambiguity-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full design lifecycle across D2C, practitioner, and enterprise-facing products
• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to identify insights and guide product decisions
• Translate complex scientific and technical concepts into intuitive user experiences
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma
• Collaborate closely with PM and engineering to scope, build, and ship high-quality features
• Shape and maintain our design systems, patterns, and brand consistency across platforms
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap by surfacing user needs and experience gaps
• Operate autonomously and drive clarity in ambiguous or undefined problem spaces

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of product design experience across web or mobile applications
• End-to-end design skills, from user research and wireframing to polished UI
• Strong UX research background, with experience running interviews and usability testing
